Margaret (Peggy) Avineri, Psy.D., LMFT is a clinician, clinical supervisor, educator and consultant with decades of experience in non-profit and private sectors, educational and community-based contexts. She holds a doctoral degree in Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT#27659).
Building upon a range of educational and professional experience, Peggy provides supervision, consultation and training focused on clinical, ethical, leadership, and organizational dilemmas. These services can vary from one-time consultation to ongoing clinical supervision.
Peggy’s approach reflects her commitment to a collaborative, mentoring model with three primary goals: centering the perspectives of those with whom she works, clarifying their beliefs around change, and ultimately guiding them to develop their own philosophy of practice. She integrates intercultural and systems-focused perspectives, identifying how individuals can best operate within their own professional contexts.
Supervision and Consultation services are currently provided via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
